In each weekly episode seven extraordinary people who’ve made the news in the past week are put in the spotlight: The 72-year-old who wrestled down two muggers by an ATM. The young woman who saved a baby deer from drowning. The mayor who put up a fog machine in a roundabout to let drivers get “a magical feeling” every time they enter town. Some people are visited by the show’s traveling reporters, others are in the studio. All are nominated to become the Swede of the Week. At the end of the episode, one of the nominees will be crowned Swede of the Week.
